Regulations, Regulations and Regulations.

I hung up and turned off the phone.

Just as I was about to relax, the phone rang again. It was a call from the staff.

"This... Madam Wen, please consider it. It's about the family's prestige. We dare not disagree..."

The staff was hesitating and unable to make a decision.

I sneered coldly and said, "What business is it of mine? I bought that piece of land, the contract is clear, you don't have the right to trade or move my late husband's tombstone!"

I hung up and turned off the phone.

I sat on the couch, feeling a mix of frustration and determination. I wouldn't let them take away my husband's resting place.

The next day, I went to the company, expecting that the榮 family had given up. During the morning meeting, the secretary, Xiao En, rushed in looking nervous.

"Bad news, Madam. They changed their minds again."

She was referring to the Planning Bureau. They had originally agreed to stamp the permit to start construction, but suddenly turned back.

"What?" I furrowed my brows, guessing what was happening.

Xiao En's face was pale. "They say it affects the appearance and is not within the scope of urban construction planning. They want us to stop construction and not allow us to start work."

I was stunned and my brows furrowed. I had a suspicion of what was going on.

The next moment, my phone rang, and it was an urgent call from the office.

I walked into the office, my heart pounding with anticipation. Xiao En was standing by my desk, her face pale and trembling. She handed me a piece of paper.

"Madam, this is what happened. They said it conflicts with the land use plan... They've proposed to suspend work."

I read the letter and my eyes narrowed. It was clear that the榮 family was trying to pressure us.

"Xiao En, tell me, what should we do now?" I asked, my voice cold.

Xiao En hesitated for a moment before answering, "Madam, we can't just give up. We have to fight for my late husband's right to be buried here."

I nodded, my resolve strengthening. "That's right. We won't give in. We'll find a way to prove that this land is legally ours and that we have the right to build on it."

Xiao En's eyes lit up with determination. "Madam, I'll go find a lawyer. We'll challenge them in court if necessary."

I nodded and turned back to my work, my mind racing. The榮 family was not going to push me around so easily. My late husband's memory was something I would fight for until the end.
